Project

Questions set from the Group Project chapter of the lecture notes (page 117-119) will count for 10% of the course.

There will be regular drop-in sessions to support the project work. These will take place in the Herschel Learning Lab, at the following times:

• Thursday 24th October, 4-5pm
• Thursday 31st October, 10-11am
• Thursday 7th November, 10-11am
• Thursday 14th November, 4-5pm

Find here some hints for the harder parts of the project, as discussed during the drop-in sessions.

You can work in small teams (up to six students per team) on the assessed exercises, and submit a single piece of work for your team. One person from each team should complete the webform to let us know the members of your team, before the submission of the first assignment.

Please make sure that each member of the team attaches a personalised NESS cover sheet to the front of the submission.

Deadlines

The project should be submitted by 3pm, Friday 22nd November 2019.
