Minitab
Throughout the course we will make extensive use of the statistical computing package Minitab.
Minitab is available from all PCs in clusters on campus, and via RAS (the University's Remote Application Service).
Minitab will be demonstrated in lectures and tutorials, and you will attend some dedicated Minitab computer practical sessions during the course. When these are timetabled, they will take the place of the standard weekly tutorials.
Numbas
The aim of Practical session 1 is to introduce you to the Numbas system for computer-based assessments (CBAs).
Numbas is the online testing platform we use to host the CBAs for this module. More information will be given in lectures, and in the first practical session.
