Numbas
Our Computer-based assessments (CBAs), using the Numbas system, will contribute 20% in total to the assessment of MAS1403. You will take six CBAs across the entire year (3 per semester), meaning each one is worth roughly 3.33%.
You should have used the Numbas system during the first practical session for the module, held in teaching week 2.
Hopefully, you found the system straight-forward and easy to use. For more help, take a look at our user guide.
For the CBAs that you will attempt as part of MAS1403, you will need to log in to Blackboard with your usual university username and password. From here, you will be able to see the CBAs available to you, including our "Getting Started" CBA.
If you have any problems with Numbas, please send an e-mail to the Mathematics and Statistics Numbas team.
