Schedule of lectures and tutorials
Lectures take place on Mondays, 5-6pm, in the Curtis Auditorium in the Herschel Building.
In addition to the Monday lecture there are weekly tutorials, starting right away in the first week of teaching:
- A: Thursday 11-12, King George VI Building LT1
- B: Thursday 1-2, Armstrong Building Clement Stephenson LT
- C: Thursday 2-3, Armstrong Building Clement Stephenson LT
In teaching weeks 2 and 7 these tutorials are replaced with computer practicals, which take place at the following times/venues:
- A: Tuesday 10-11, Herschel PC cluster
- B: Wednesday 10-11, Herschel PC cluster
- C: Thursday 11-12, Herschel PC cluster

Other good text books are available. For example, the book by Swift and Piff - Quantitative Methods for Business, Management and Finance.
Buying a book is not essential for this course - I will provide you with a complete set of lecture notes. See how things go, and perhaps invest in a text book if you feel like you need more support, or more examples!
