This is the course website for the computing part of MAS1802: Problem Solving and Computing II, taught by Dr. Lee Fawcett.
Schedule of lectures and tutorials
Lectures take place on Fridays, 1pm-2pm, in Lecture Theatre 1 of the Herschel Building.
In addition to the Friday lecture there are regular computer practicals. These take place in the Herschel PC cluster on Tuesdays 9am-11am.
To help you with your assignments, we have also scheduled a weekly drop-in in the Herschel PC cluster on Thursdays 2pm-3pm.

Background reading
The book by Venables and Smith - An Introduction to R: A Programming Environment for Data Analysis and Graphics - provides an excellent, and accessible, overview of everything we'll cover in this module.
