The Friday practical is only held if it is needed.
The lecture on the Wednesday of week 6 will be held only if it is needed.
I have allocated "Office Hours" when I will be available (as far as possible) in my room for consultation by ACE2046 students as follows.
Tuesdays, 4.00-5.00, Herschel 3.12.
Wednesdays, 11.00-12.00, Herschel 3.12.

Assessment
The assessment for this part of the module is by submission of reports on the practical work. there will be five pieces of practical work. The first is not assessed but you must complete it. Practicals 1-4 are given in weeks 1-4 repectively. Two weeks are allowed for Practical 5 and this report is given twice the weight of each of the others.
