Minitab
During semester 2, we will make extensive use of the statistical software package Minitab.
Minitab is available from all ISS cluster PCs. Also, you can buy a copy for your own PC from the ISS Shop.
You will attend a practical session every fortnight. You will be given materials to work through in these practical sessions, and these will appear below after each class. Some of the questions will be for assessment purposes, and your solution to these should be handed in as a single submission.
Deadline and submission arrangements
The assessed questions from the computer practicals should be submitted by 4pm, Monday 12th May 2014.
You should submit your work, with a cover sheet attached, through the Stage 2 homework submission letterbox outside the Maths General Office on the 3rd floor of the Herschel Building.
If you have problems accessing the datafiles it may be because of the browser you are using. In Google Chrome the file should download, and if you click on the file name it will launch in Minitab. In Internet Explorer you may have to right click on the link, then click on "Save taget as"; save the file as name.MTW (the .MTW extension is essential) in the folder of your choice. If you then double click on the filename it should launch in Minitab.
