1. Comparing the left column with the right column, we see that magnetic field structures with smaller spatial scales evolve at a shorter time scale.
2. Comparing the top row with the bottom row, we see that the dipole evolves faster inside the outer core than at the CMB. On the other hand, the time variation of the small-scale magnetic field is at about the same rate for different radii.
