    • 12-00 onwards. Informal lunch in Courtyard Restaurant on campus (Old Library Building, facing Merz Court). The lectures will then take place in room M503, Merz Court.

    • 14-30 Vivien Easson (Cambridge) Surface subgroups and hyperbolic 3-manifolds
    • 15-30 to 16-00 Tea/Coffee in Merz Court Buttery (fourth floor).
    • 16-00 Ross Geoghegan (Binghamton, visiting Durham) Associativity and Richard Thompson's Group
    • 18-00. Dinner in local restaurant, La Toscana.
