UK TILDE 2025
UK Topology In Low Dimensions Event 2025 will be held at Newcastle University, on Monday 7th and Tuesday 8th of April 2025.
The aim of the event is to facilitate connections between early-career mathematicians working in low-dimensional topology, including PhD students and postdocs. There will be talks from senior mathematicians, contributed lightning talks from attendees, and enrichment activities to facilitate networking.

- Location: The Dove Marine Laboratory, Cullercoats. This is a marine outstation of Newcastle University, approximately 30 minutes by public transport from central Newcastle.
- Dates: Monday 7th and Tuesday 8th of April 2025.
- Format: A small number of talks from senior mathematicians, many contributed lightning talks from attendees, and enrichment activities to facilitate networking.
- Speakers: Rachael Boyd (Glasgow), Cameron Rudd, (Oxford). Lightning talk speakers to be determined closer to the event.
- Travel and accommodation support: Attendees will be able to apply for travel and accommodation support (up to a fixed maximum value). Please register using the form below before February 28th 2025 to guarantee consideration for funding. Unfortunately it is unlikely that we will be able to offer travel support for attendees from outside of the United Kingdom.
