Lectures will be in the Curtis Auditorium, on the ground floor of the Herschel buildings (home of the School of Mathematics and Statistics) at Newcastle University.
Afterwards we'll go straight to dinner, booked for 1730 at Avanti's in Jesmond (close to West Jesmond metro, which 2 stops from Newcastle Haymarket and the University, 4 stops from Newcastle Central Station, 9 stops from Newcastle airport). Please let us know if you plan to stay for dinner, since the restaurant needs an idea of numbers.
For lunch, we suggest the Courtyard restaurant on campus (next to Merz court, where the School of Mathematics and Statistics was until a few years ago). Some of us will (aim to) be there from about 1200.
