This is a collaborative seminar that is has been running since 2003, and is funded by grants from the London and Edinburgh Mathematical Societies and the Glasgow Mathematical Journal. It involves geometric group theorists from Heriot-Watt, Glasgow, Newcastle, Durham, York, Leeds, Manchester, Nottingham and Leicester, and meets three times a year.
Our first meeting in 2011,12 was on November 30th 2011 in Newcastle.
Our next will be on March 21st 2012 in Edinburgh.
We have been meeting at least three times a year since the Autumn of 2003, and have a record of our past meetings
