Abstract
We propose problems in response to a call by the NSF for a debate on
important recent advances and current directions in applied operator
theory at the conference on this topic in Winnipeg in October 1998.
This note is based on our contribution to a problems session at the
conference. We suggest directions for the further development of
realization theory.
