Dr Jordan Stoyanov
Method for teaching stochastic processes and their applications
Abstract
A method will be described to show how to achieve good final results [and more than that] when combining traditional methods with new and original ideas.
More generally, the novelty can be used when teaching/studying any area of pure and applied mathematics, not just for probability/statistics/stochastic processes.
The speaker believes that the talk [about 40 minutes] will be of interest to all colleagues and PhD students at our School.
