to Bioinformatics", and joined in gene finding programming project
using EM algorithms to decide the coding and non-coding border. My
responsibility focus on three aspects: (1) Verify if there is global extreme problem of EM algorithms (2) Look for the fitness function for optimization (3) Develop optimization algorithms. |

Aug. 2001 - Oct. 2001 | Programming a comercial software (C++ language) to predict the consumption of electric power. I used Genetic Programming (GP) algorithms to optimize differential equations that consist with the history data, then use Euler method to predict the consumption of power in the future. The result of the module is more excellent than that of the other predict methods such as neural network. |
