    Founded in 1968 by Bonsall and Ringrose, NBFAS aims in organizing UK seminars with international speakers of high prestige. The following universities are members of NBFAS: Aberdeen, Queen's University Belfast, Birmingham, Cambridge, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Heriot-Watt, Lancaster, Leeds, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Nottingham, Oxford.


    Memberships

    2016/today: Member of the Northeastern Organisation of DiscretE Structures (NODES), a new consortium between Durham and Newcastle with the aim of bringing together 40 researchers from Algebra and Computer Science. (Automata and Dynamical Systems research hub.)
