MAS1243/MAS2243: Application of Mathematical Methods to Finance

Coursework

• There are 4 written assignments.
  • Written assignments should be handed in to the General Office or lecturer by 1pm on the Friday of the week in which they are due.
• There are 4 computer based assessments (CBA).
  • Instructions on completing these CBA assessments are here.
  • Each CBA will be open in practice mode for a week, then open in exam mode for a week, by the end of which it must have been submitted.

• Marks for all assignments will be available on NESS

The Exam

• There is one 90 minute exam at the end of the module.
• Past exam papers are put on the web by the university: enter MAS1243 or MAS2243 in "Module Code".
• Exam questions covered in the revision lectures; roughly in the format of the 2013-2014 exam.
