Maple examples used in lectures are available here.
If your browser doesn't open them automatically they should be saved and then opened using Maple. Login using your windows id and open "Specialist Sotware" then "Scientific Software", where you'll find Maple.
In some of the university clusters Maple does not start as it should. If you have problems try starting Maple via the sequence "Start> All Programs>Scientific Software>Maple 9>Classic Worksheet Maple 9".

The course has changed substatially since 2005-6 so there are no exam papers which exactly cover the material of the course. The MAS147 exam paper has some questions which cover this years material and some which are only appropriate to last year. The main differences are that this year we did not cover "Weierstrass' Theorem" or what it means for a function to be "coercive" for maximisation or minimisation.
Past exam papers are put on the web by the university: enter MAS1002 or MAS147 in "Module Code" and then "Go".
