I am currently in my third year at the University of Newcastle studying for a PhD in Functional Analysis with Dr Michael Dritschel. I am interested in Toeplitz operators and the factorization of positive trigonometric polynomials on the dual group of locally compact abelian groups. I did my BSc (Licence de mathematiques) and my MSc (Maitrise de mathematiques pures option geometrie differentielle) in Senegal at the University of Cheikh Anta Diop of Dakar. After that, I did a further qualification (D.E.A: Diplome d'Etudes Approfondies) on irreducible positive linear functionals on Banach Algebras. This dissertation was supervised by Dr Etienne Desquith ( Cocody University) Abidjan, Ivory Coast. Please email me if you would like to receive a copy.
