Believe it or not, Adobe Reader's "Booklet printing" print style does not work. Adobe provides a plugin software called "PDF Snake", but it is not free. I have found one solution for this problem under Windowns operation system. What you want to do is to open pdf file with gsview instead of Adobe reader, then go to properties of the printer, select the "Pages per sheet" or "print style" (depends on the type of printer) as "booklet printing", you will get your material printed in a booklet. Easy and free! Of course, you can also print .ps file by gsview into booklet.
